Due to the large volume of emails this site receives, it quickly became temporally prohibitive to respond to every email. As a result, I decided to post some of the more entertaining/insightful comments here.
Please keep your comments coming. I read them all and greatly appreciate your support for me and this site. I apologize for being unable to respond personally to all comments.

Dear Jim; I want to commend you on the editorial/article on homosexual adoption. I read your article on "If you have nothing to hide.." and then decided to read a bit further. While you seem to be, for the most part, against the idea of homosexual adoption; you also are willing to be wrong about it (if you get my drift). The final paragraph states it very well. MYOFB. [Mind your own freaking business.] The only thing we can do is to be the best people we can be and try to raise our kids the same way.
Regards P.S. Obviously, this is my ox being gored. My wife and I chose a same sex couple to be the Godmom's to our son. I had to think about the ramifications for awhile but finally decided that they were the most comitted and God fearing couple that we knew. And "society's" problems with our decision could go hang. |
| Congratulations on the birth of your son. I applaud you and your wife's decision to do what you found to be best for your child. |

In your article [Freeing the Inner Slave]I was hoping (as I read the paragraph
about the conservative supporting going through
someone's house looking for white powder, that the
second portion would be the exact same words except
with liberal and gun in place of conservative and white
powder.
I have a difficult time getting people on my side, the generally "conservative" side, to see the incredible similarity between guns and drugs. Both are inanimate objects that may be used or misused; both are now being separated into "good" and "bad" ones; both are safe in the hands of good people and dangerous in the hands of bad people; The Constitution allows the federal government to prohibit or regulate neither (one more strongly than the other, granted); both, when illegal, lead to power and wealth for criminals; both are a threat to those who would use others for their own ends. Keep up the good work, Bob |
| Thanks Bob. I have had similar discussions. The pro-government extremists use different arguments to convince different segments of the populous that government is the only answer to any particular problem. If not guns and drugs, they would use something else - like terrorism. |
|
i have just happened upon your website whilst browsing my newsgroups, i was searching within "terrorism" . i am a well educated citizen of the united kingdom, i have served in my countries armed forces, and have visited many foreign shores. i have to tell you that your site and your opinions are an embarrassment to your country. i would guess that you do not have any children( of your own) or indeed a partner. the measures put in place by the many airline companies in a frantic response to sep11 are obviously insufficient, our own governments are in silent panic, but any measures taken are too make the general public FEEL safer, you should learn to appreciate what others are doing for you, if not, f*** off somewhere else!!!( try Pakistan)
sorry for the expletive, but you deserve such disrespect. |
| I knew there was a reason we declared independence from you. |
Received in response to An Open Letter To American Airlines
|
Bravo Sir!
I applaud your letter and the attitude it represents. I to have made the decision not to fly in light of the idiotic, tyrannical attitude of the airlines & the federal government. I would be very interested in reading any reply you may receive to your vent. I assume that you will post it to your web page, so I will check back periodically. Sincerely, D.L. |

P.S. I'm not sure you should go to Britain either. |
